I have an 06 Heritage Classic EFI which is completely stock. I am finally at the point where I can afford to purchase some exhaust. I am considering the Vance & Hines Longshots HS or the V&H Big Shots Long. I was just wondering if you could help me. What is the difference in sound between the two pipes. I have heard the Long Shots HS and just wonder how the Big Shots compare. Also how will they compare performance wise? I have heard the Big Shots will out perform the Longshots.

One more thing. Would I be better off to purchase the V&H Fuel Pak or to just have harley do the Screamin Eagle upgrade? I can purchase the screamin eagle kit a lot cheaper. Thought I could install the SE kit and pipes myself and then trailer the bike to the dealer and pay them for the download. Let me know what you think.

 

Put the V&H bigshotlongs on my dads 06 heritage,SE air cleaner and the V&H fuel pac without the factory flash. the power pac is very user freindly to install and program. The bike sounds great power is unbelivable over stock and the only drawback is rev limiter still kicks in around 5000 rpm or so. Bike is getting 45-50mpg. I love the sound compared to my 05 road king and my wife wants same setup on her 07 deluxe when it come in soon.

The Big Shot Longs are the best sounding pipe that V&H makes. A little loud, not the best for performance, but the sound is nice.
