Thinking of buying the Samson true dual fishtail exhaust for my 2000 Heritage Softail. I would go with the baffled 36" long system. Do you have any thoughts on this system, and any tips for installation?

 

I loved mine. biggest issue is pulling out or into an inclined driveway or parking lot. I had to go at a Major angle to not scrape them.
During install leave everything VERY loose.
If anything is remotely tight the pipes will not bolt to the support brackets at all.

ya those are the 36's. I totaled the bike in sept and now have a bagger i am customizing. Let me know when ya come up Dino is a stomping ground for us guys. I like to ride to the one in Rochester from the Syracuse

Ya we will probably stop at the Dino March 20th on our way back from Daytona (truck and trailer), and every september we have a group of about 60 of us from Ottawa do our annual "Dinoraur Bar.B.Que run.(go on a saturday, leave Sunday) and stay at the econo lodge on James st.
