You got that right! I put the "questionable" newer "B" lifters in with my new gear drive setup a month ago and today installed the Black Ops from Headquarters. The "B" bled down so quickly the bike rattled at idle when warm. It was getting dark when I was done so it'll be out tomorrow for it's test drive.

The Comp cams V-thunder lifters are working fine for me, they were less than $60. to my doorstep.http://www.compperformancegroupstore...Code=LFTRHYREV
Wow, that is a great price. Too bad they don't show any cams for the twin cam bikes, I might be interested...

I too recommend and run the Headquarters Black Ops lifters. No lifter noise if adjusted properly. I installed a set of the new Woods lifters in a bike running the HD 259 cams that the owner complained of lifter noise and they also made a difference, but they are a bit pricey IMO.

I don't have any lifter noise either and with stock push rods I don't worry about any adjustments. My cams are mild with only .541 lift. I went with the Comp V-Thunders after having a stock lifter collapse.
