I am partial to the Andrews cam family and you cannot go wrong with the 37. TMan's 525 is a good cam as well. Both require headwork to optimize. Best advice if you are having headwork done is to select a head porter and work the cam choice out with him based on your requirements.
I have alwasy been of the opinion that the HQ cams work best with an HQ package which includes their heads/headwork. So that would be another option, go back to HQ for headwork to match up to the HQ cams.

I have done business with Dorfman. Don is very knowledgeable and will give you plenty of time before, during and after the build. I am working with him now to work through some issues on one of my builds; a 107". Don has a "blue print" package for budget builders; give Don some seriouis consideration; he is a great guy to work with and you will get more for you $$. The Woods cams tend to be noisy; Andrews are about as quiet at they get. As I said before, you can't go wrong with the 37. I recently worked with a buddy building a 95". We used OEM '06 heads, out of the box except for competition valve job, new guide seals and decking for compression with the 37 cams in an '04 Deuce with less than optimal pipes, Rinehart Crossbacks. The build made 107TQ/100HP with a nice flat curve. Add some headwork and decent pipes and you are looking at 110TQ/103HP; not to shabby for a 95"er.

Yea Don is one of those guys that has to get down to my level so I can understand what he is talking about.Spent about 15/20 min on the phone with him...sounds like he knows his S==t.Said he can do a basic blueprint of the heads, match it to the 37.He also suggested the full head port job for around 700/800.

I called another reputable builder on the east coast recently about using there cams. with HQ stuff, or going with here heads instead, in a nutshell, they told me they didnt give an F either way, just as long as there was enough valve spring clearance to not coil bind.
I was like huh?? Ok, whatever.
decided to just keep my cams with my 103 build.

i had that feeling about there parts too, but i think its mostly hype, and not understanding there build philosophy in general. with isnt much different that most builders. (they just anrnt all hung up on HP numbers mainly).

I have seen some 95" builds with Kuryakyn cams that made 120TQ/115HP; heads by Bob Wright. The same cams, same build with another porters heads will not produce those results.
Anyway, I opted to put together my own packcage and have changed cams three times with some suttle differences; I was happy with all three.
