Default exhaust gasket

planning to replace stock exhaust with V&H Power duals.. Bike will only be few weeks old.. do i need to also replace the exhaust gaskets when i swap out the orginal exhaust for the V&H duals ?

You don't necessarily HAVE to however I do recommend it. Why take a chance with such an easy thing to change out. They are not expensive.

Better safe than sorry. The old one is already compressed to seal the stock headpipe and the new pipes are shaped a little differently.I just put power duals on my 20011 SG103. You WON'T want to have to take them off because the used gasket didn't seal. BTW, gaskets come included with the power duals, so you have already paid for them. Good Luck!

It would be a good idea. Do not use the OEM gaskets, use the SE or the Cometic SS ones.
