'94 Wide Glide, Python 3 exhaust, SE air cleaner, premium fuel, fresh oil change and filter.

Over the past couple of days (no recent changes to bike) I've began picking up a sort of higher pitched chirping on excel and decel. I've lowered my head as close to the engine as possible during operation and can detect no new or unusual noises from the engine itself (no ping or clatter from there). It seems to be present only at the exhaust exit. Tomorrow I'm going to see if anything is loose and squeeking. But barring that is there any engine condition known to cause this?

 

More than likely your Drive Belt is loose...

Take a look at the joints in the exhaust system too, they could be seperated enough to give you a chirping noise.

 

I picked up a chirping when I switched to Wild Pigs, it's definately in the exhaust. You can hear it change as the engine rpm changes.
