Default Cleaned my carb now i got an extra part

I got a 2003 super glide and i took the carb off the other day to clean it, wouldnt run without the choke. I put it all back together and now i have an extra piece and I have no idea where it goes. I looked at a diagram in my service manual and the part is not shown and I even watched videos on youtube of people disassembling the carb and I did not see the piece. Its about a 1/2 inch long and it looks like a sleeve or a guide with a lip around the one end. I know the carb had a little work done to it before I owned it cause its got 3 washers on the needle and I think the jets have been changed out (it's got vance and hines drag pipes) I bought the bike back in august, haven't really rode it yet. This is my first motorcycle but I have owned and worked on atv's and snowmobiles. Anyone have any idea? thanks

Post a picture alongside a ruler for clarity... there are several possibilities ranging from "optional kit part" to "oops"

Been a long time since I looked at that one. I'm thinking maybe a re-sleeve for the jet(s). Is it threaded? If not I think it taps back in for the mainjet's "guide".

Throttle cable bracket screw sleeve, so it won't crush the vacuum piston cover.
