Sadly, the tensioners/chain is another really crappy idea. This kinda stuff should not be installed on bikes that cost this much.
As far as GD cams for 06 Dyna, Andrews may be the only ones that are making them so far.

Yeah I do know about that list, called Andrews yesterday.

Supposedly it will be a few more weeks before they are available for shipping.

Called S&S as well, they say around the first of the year.

I don't know of others producing GD cams.

Wonder what is different with the 06 Dyna motor from the other 06s.

The 06 Dyna and all the 07's have a larger diameter shaft and use different bearings.

They are physically larger.

I'm pretty sure the 06 Dyna was a testbed for the 07's. The 07 softails are using the same primary as the dynas.

Just had mine replaced with the cams at 33,000 inside one was toast, broke off during disassembly. outside was fine. glad I did this when I did.

Well, good news i guess. If you really wanna stay with the chains there is a way. You can use the new tensioners in the older motors but the transformation appears to be rediculous. Here it is. (Just upgrade to gears!)

You can fix the pre-07's with a gear drive set of cams....
Phil, been looking for GD cams for 06 Dyna.
