Default SE Heavy breather vs. Big Sucker?

I need a new intake and I think I have narrowed it down to these two. I was hoping to get some opinions form you guys that have used these. Did you like them? Is one better than the other?

Performance wise either of these would suit you.

The ness is a nice tidy package, the filter media can be washed and re-oiled. ( like a K&N although this is not a K&N filter)

The S/E has a washable non-oiled filter

I just bought a ness on ebay for $115 shipped ( easternpc)

I went with the chrome backing plate as the chrome is easier to wipe clean than the grey or black.

Just to clarify the SE Heavy Breather has a washable oiled filter.

If the OP is referring the the SE Heavy Breather (elbow style), it is a washable, oiled filter.

Sorry- my bad, as they say- on the filter media, I was thinking the S/E "stage 1" kit.

that said, when I sat on a bike with a heavy breather at the dealer, my shin banged on the back of the elbow, and the filter snagged my size 10.5 boot when I was going for the brake,
