I have a 2006 Street Glide that is totally stock. I purchased a set of Screaming Eagles (66910-99) slip ons to install on the bike. I don't plan on adding or doing any other upgrades or performance mods. Just looking for some sounds. Everyone I have talked to (including HD dealers) have different opinions about this.

Questions:
1. Do I need/have to install an upgraded air filter if the only thing I am doing is just adding the slip on exhaust system?

2. Do I need to have the bike remapped if the only thing I am doing is just adding the slip on exhaust system?

Is it absolutely needed?? No, in regards to either.
Do you want to see the worth of that simple bolt-on up-grade??
If the answer to that is yes, then have it tuned.
