Default Fiberglass wrapping V&H Baffles

V&H doesn't make quiet(er) baffles for ProPipes. I have been doing some research into wrapping fiberglass matting around the baffle. Anyone tried this and how did it turn out? Noise reduction? How many wraps around the can? How did you attach it, wire every couple of inches? How does it last? My neighbors thank you in advance.

Default RE: Fiberglass wrapping V&H Baffles

I just picked up some packing to redo the baffles in my V&H slash cut mufflers. The old packing was pretty beat up. These fibreglass mats are about 10" x 16" so I'll wrap them around the long way and use it all. The old packing had muffler tape to hold it together instead of wire. I might try that again.
