Default muffler removal?????????

Any tricks to remove a muffler on the right side (sitting on bike) of an electra glide? It's a 2002, the exhaust looks as though its been on since 02. The left one took a little twisting, turning, but this right side isn't budging. I imagine the heat has something to do with it. I tried for a little while, sprayed it down with wd-40, any suggestions? Still not moving. Thanks.

PB Blaster....

WD 40 will only make it slippery....

It wont break down the rusty and corroded metal.....

Soak it with PB for a couple of hours.... Heat it up a bit and start to wiggle it off.....

Whatever you do, don't push down too hard on the muffler to try to open up the clamped area...

You might end up cracking the rear head pipe at the welded joint.....
