Default Help me with my 95'' build

Eventually I will be warming the engine up in my 06 heritage with EFI. I would like some opinions and suggestions as I am new to twin cams. It has 14,000 miles. So far my plan is to use SE high compression pistons, thundermax with auto tune, I already have V&H longshots with baffles so I will keep them. Can I get some cam suggestions? I want lots of bottem-mid range power, good passing power, throttle response, etc. I would like to use the stock heads and valve sizes with some mild porting and reworking. Maybe big boy cycles? So all in all I would like to keep the cost down and keep reliability. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

HUGE power increase for the dollar spent, would be an Andrews 37, S&S pushrods, cam bearings, Barnett clutch spring, bore to 98", and a set of heads that'll flow 250-255 cfm @ 28".
OE t/body is fine for that set-up.

I have the Andrews TW37Gs in my 2005 FLHRS 95 inch. I have Dewey's street port heads, Forged flat tops with .050 off heads for 10:1 compression. I run a 44mm carb and DTT ignition with 93 oct gas for 100/102 power. Low cost and should run forever. Pulls my wife, our trailer, and myself wherever we head with no effort and 35-45mpg depending on mountains.

Ok so the andrews cams would be better for my application than the wood tw6? What is the best way to do a 95 cylinder/piston kit on a budget? I was thinking of having my cylinders bored by a local machine shop and using keith black, wiseco or even screaming eagle pistons. One more question, chain or gear drive cams? Thanks.

Actually the Wood TW-6G(gear driven) would be our favorite, as would be a forged Wiseco of 98", your cylinders bored.
Was only making mention of the 37 as it is a tick less expensive, but the Wood 6 is in fact our choice here.
With our Stage II Heads on that, tuned, it will show 100-105 hp, 110-115 ft/lbs. over a very broad band.

The fact that you brought up BigBoyz cycles tells me you are keeping a budget with this build
I have built a few 95 setups using the Andrews 37 cams and BigBoyz heads. They typically run in the mid 90's HP and 105 plus torque with a VERY nice torque curve depending on pipes used. While I run the Wood cams in my own bike I feel the gains if any with this setup over the 37 would not be worth the dollars spent. Dollar for dollar I have yet to see a better more reliable combo than the SE1550 piston, 37cam BigBoyz combo.

Client cam in with a 95"/37 cam/D&D Fatcat(left Saturday).
With our Gen Stage II Heads and his 2 pc Delphi, bored from 41-46.5mm, we dyno "checked" his build which we squeaked 9.8 cr into it, via re-surface.
It showed us 97.1 hp and 102.3 ft/lbs, and is NOW, going to our EFI tuner. www.joescyclerepair.com.
Looking forward to the results, asap.
