Hi,

I have a 2005 Dyna Superglide with Fuel injection. When you go to the Screamin Eagle Stage I air cleaner setup does the cover from the original air cleaner go over the round air K&N filter? When I look at the picture of the parts that come with it, it looks like that's how it's set up. Call me crazy but I actually like the "football" cover plate. If you don't use it, when what? If anyone has a picture of how it's supposed to be, please send it, or post.

P.S. I'm going to be using it, in conjunction with SE II mufflers and the EFI re-calibration.

 

You can use the stock football or a number of others.

The stock air cleaner fits right on there. It actually will be closer to the engine after the SE kit and gives you a little more leg room. I like the looks of the stock air cleaner.

I too like the football, and kept it when I had my Stage 1 dine using the SE air cleaner kit.

Joe, it fit's, but you should remove the black plastic housing that is behind the chrome "football"
