Running a little rich

I have an 06 UC with se slipon's, se air, and sert. My mileage runs from 29 to 33 mpg. I also notice a brown deposet on exhaust tip. Dealer said they would remap but my question is will getting a little leaner mixture cause overheat porblems?

With mileage like 29 to 33 mpg, you are probably very rich. You should be more in the area of 40 or so when tuned properly. There shouldn't be a noticable difference in temps when it is set up properly.
