Wrapped SuperTrapp On Fat Boy
About 5 hours of work including beerdrinking. I did it beacause the previous owner used a knife to remove bootmarks on the heatshields. I could not stand seeing the ugly scratches any longer, and havenīt been lucky in my search for new shields. (Itīs a Screaming Eagle Super Trap)
Anyway. I like the result.

And I used the nonecolored ones and spraypainted them after they was dry. Tightening during wrapping as hard as I could.
Only setback was that I wrapped to high up and could not get the nuts back on. But it took only about 10 minutes to move the hooseclamp a bit.
I took a last minute decision to include the collector in the wrapping to minimize visible hooseclamps. So I just continued the rear exhaustwrapping over the collector, hiding the hooseclamp on the forward exhaustpipe.
All the best.

Yes. Itīs a slipon. 28 discs and open endcap. Like the sound. Havenīt thought of a straight pipe, but might consider that.

Sounded like a goldwing. A lot of lowend torque but... Did not sound like a harley.
Got powercommander now. Got a nice map for it. Plugs looks great and no popping.
Planning a 1550 build with "extras"

BTW, you can bore your cylinders to 98", using Wiseco's, #VT1767 kit.
