I have a 1995 softail with an Ultima 3.35" belt primary drive and starter jackshaft assembly and a stock H.D. starter, my problem is the starter gear comes out and engages the ring gear but doesn't turn. I can hear the starter motor turning at full speed. had the starter apart and all the gears in the reduction part looked like new, any ideas? Is there a woodruff key some where that has sheared possibly?
