Kirby is the only porter/machinist suggesting larger intake valves as a few others said to stick with stock valve sizes. I'm gonna stick with stock valves, the CR bump and still explore the possibility of very mild head work. A local machinist named Tom Wirth (Mountain Cycle Performance) has a very good reputation for head work and I'll have him look at the heads while their off. Hope to keep things just a tad above simple Thanks for your input, appreciate it.... Troop

We a-typically use a 1.940", on the 103", and go to 2" Black Diamond intakes, on the 107"ers.
With a Wood 408 in a 107, you'll see 120/120 without breakin' a sweat.

Thanks for the input Scott. The above valve size (1.900) in my case applies to stock 96cid so I don't know if that makes a difference? Troop
