Aside from crappy stators replaced 3 times, ( until I went aftermarket 3 Phase and fixed the problem for good,) the only major thing I had to do in my first 80,000 miles was to replace the rear head because an exhaust valve hung up...

It hung up because I unknowingly rode it back from Myrtle Beach the day before with a cracked Y pipe.

Make certain you have no exhaust leaks either.
