Thanks for all the input guys. I decided I'm done. Taking her in on Saturday to the dealer. At least they can get to the bottom of things. I must have taken my carb off at least 4 times and I am sick of it. Hopefully they won't gouge my eyes out and use a little vaseline. Wish me luck. I will post the outcome come next week. Maybe it will help someone out there.

3 turns out as suggested by the designer of the yost tube. I went ahead and turned it in a quarter turn to see if it would richen it up and it did a little but still coughing is not normal by all means. Tommorow off to the dealer. I am hesitant to take her in because the last time I did my chrome carb top was scratched up pretty bad. After complaining they did give me a new top which i had to install, no biggie. I just don't want them to scratch up my chrome top breathers cause that would suck big time. I will surely let them know before hand. Itching to ride without having to worry about this bull crap problem. Times like this makes me wish I could trade her in for a 2010, but this is my baby and she's paid off.

Once you get this sorted out, you'll be in love again - just not with the Moco dealership. Don't forget to let us know what it turned out to be - inquiring minds wanna know!

Alright, took me a couple of weeks, but I finally took her in to the dealer. Turns out it was the manifold seals leaking where the manifolds meet the heads. She is running better than ever and even the tone of the pipes got beefier. Total cost was only $139.00. I was surprised, I thought I was looking at $250-$450. Thanks for the help. I went in letting them know about the gasket leak. They just verified it instead of trying to sell me a new carb. Happy ending to a troubled month of scratching my head. Hope this helps someone.

I still get the occasional pop or even a stall despite the 50 pilot I put in. I'm going to shoot some ether around it today and check the outbound seals. I thought you had some difficult maneuvering to do to replace them. I almost think I need a 52, but I shouldn't. That's one big jet.
