Default Rattle from front cyl

Ok here goes. I have a engine noise in my 05 88b engine that started about 600 miles ago, It is rpm related and have traced to the front cyl near the front pipe. You can hear the noise at 25 in 2nd 35 in 3rd and 45 in 4th and when decel from 45 down in 3rd gear. It's a light tapping noise that is not lifters but seams more like piston skirt slap. If you put a shop towel over the front pipe you can feel the tapping/knock just off idle say 1200 rpms. Local stealer says Oh it just a normal noise for 28k. BULLS*!T This noise started all of the sudden and is not normal. Any ideas ? I have always changed the oil every 2k and used Amzoil 20-50. Thanks in advance.

Pop off your rocker box and take a look at the rocker arms and springs. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, maybe a broken valve spring. Good luck.

It's one or the other, start at the top and work your way South. Either way it needs to come apart.
