Default Is this possible?

I have several sets of new stock mufflers from bikes I installed new slip-ons when I bought the bike. Now I have another new bike and am toying with which slip-on to get. But I got wondering, could I modify a pair of these take-offs... open them up to get the flow and the sound, then do a Stage 1 (or whatever it takes) download, and put the bike on a dyno to tune it? Save some green by using stock mufflers, and have it dialed in the it's best tuning.

Is this possible?

im sure you could, I kept my stock mufflers with the intent to send them to some thunder-baffle type place to have them opened up and gutted and new baffles installed.
