Default Best 2 into 1 exhaust

I apologize if this is a repeat post but I could not find any threads specific to my questions. I am looking at buying a set of 2 into 1 Thunderheader exhaust for my 08 superglide. I have the 96in motor. Curious from other consumer and users of Thunderheaders, Vance and Hines Etc. as to which ones everyone else uses and why. I like the sound with the Thunderheaders but I am even more impressed with the performance gains. I will be running a power commander and SE intake when I accumulate all my goodies. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Most commonly discussed 2-1 exhausts are going to be: Thunderheader, D&D Fatcat, Supertrapp Supermeg, V&H Propipe, and Rinehardt.....those were listed in no particular order. Personally, I'm a fan of the Fatcat. I think the fit/ finish is great, and I like the performance aspect.

Don't forget Bassani Roadrage 2:1. I have it and love it. Get lots of compliments from both other riders who are behind me, and people who hear me go by. Not as noisy as T Header - and it still barks when you want it to. Much more neighborhood friendly, imho.

I am a fan of the fatcat first and foremost and that is what i run. The Bassani is a close second. Nothing wrong with the Rinehart or V&H either, but V&H is fourth in my opinion. Thunderheader comes in last every time in my book due to all the problems I have seen with them. Broke exhaust studs and brackets, poor finish, welds, etc...It provides great power and has a killer sound, but once again just my opinion.

I can can you any or all of these brands at discounted pricing so email or PM me and we can talk turkey.

D&D is the highest quality of pipe I have ever used. Be sure to order the baffle that you can live with.
You will pay for the quality though.

Another pipe that has caught my attention lately is the V&H pro pipe chrome. I've heard nothing but good from users so far. Very inexpensive compared to D&D.
