Default Sputter, caugh and cutout, 92 H Softail

I have a 92 Heritage Softail, EVO 1340, all stock. While riding up an incline accelorating it began to cut out (after riding at least one hour w no problems). Could only do 40 mph or it would start to cut out bad. Compression test is 90psi each, vac piston seems to operate good. At idle it's fine, but rev up and it cuts out and acts like it's going to die. Back off and it drops to smooth idle like always. I did fill the tank before I took, but I think bad gas would have caused problems before an hour into the ride. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm thinking your carb float might be stuck or out of adjustment. Just a guess however.
