"Harley Car" shakes, need options

I realize this is a different application, but... engineers HAVE tamed this problem. It is a frame from a touring bike. YOUR mounts may not have the right properties to deal with the vibrations and harmonics.
I see wanting a trade... but cutting up a junker frame and using all HARLEY OEM mounting parts AND mounting points would sure be worth a try in my book.
If the Motor Company can do it, why re-invent the wheel?

I know the feelin'...I'm a whopping 5'6" and brought home a few gals way taller than me....I was smart enough to know it wouldn't last so when I knew the end was near I passed her on to my friends....I got a few beers or plenty of smokes when that happened!!!

Yeah this guy, now remember 40 years ago, married her still in HS, finished that out. She went to college, got that, Got a PHD in Socialligy, divorced him and moved to florida.
He used to say, "I raised her, educated her, gave her a roof, and then she kicks me out. hell of a deal'.
Hell of a ride I guess.

For the record I have looked at numerous new Harleys and dupilcated all their stuff. I tried it with the top mount, without the top mount, everything that you guys have mentioned and nothing will stop the vibrations. The problem lies in the length of unsupported thin wall tubing. It goes into harmonics because there is nothing there to stop it from doing so. I just got back from the tractor pulls but I will send pictures of the mounting structure when I get into the shop tomorrow. If someone can come up with a "majic pill" that would be fantastic but the reality is, if I am going to re-engineer it, it will be to install a motor that doesn't shake.
This is a picture of my personal racecar it has a turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa motor in that is solid mounted puts out over three hundred horsepower and doesn't vibrate at all. Unfortunately the Busa motor doesn't have the soul, or the feel of an American hot rod, but it sure would make my job a whole lot easier.
