Default Cam vs. Big Bore

If you were only going to do 1 upgrade, would it be a cam or a 95" kit? Which gives the most bang for the buck? What could I expect from each? I have an '05 FLHTI with duals, Wild Pigs and SE AC, stage I download and a PCIII USB. It runs good but I'm looking for a little more power towards the bottom end (torque). Top end horsepower I'm not concerned with.

BTW, I'm looking at the Andrews 26 gear driven cam.

What would you do and why? If you have done either, how do you like the performance vs. stock?

Thanks

Yup, I agree. Plus you get rid of the chain drive.

Agree with both above responses.... You can add either one in either order, but if it' sonly one @ a time, you'll see better results from cams.... 26G's are great in baggers!

I had my cams installed first too. - TW26G's. I'll admit to being slightly dissapointed w/the cams on the 88 (crumby dyno-tune tho), but the BB really woke em up! Gonna try a different tuner this go-round...can hardly wait!

The problem with stock engines (H-D, Ford, Chevy) is that they don't breath well. Pipes, A/C, and cams improve breathing and therefore improve power. If you increase the displacement, you increase the breathing requirements. So you increasing demand without increasing capability.

What I'm trying to say is, get the Pipes and A/C first. Then cams. Then BB.
