Default Please read my plugs.

These are the plugs out of my 1996 Evo Low Rider. Its a stage one bike with a CV carb. The left plug is from the front cylinder. Its either a 46 or 48 Low Speed jet (I swear to God I can't remember which one I put in) and I'm between 3 and 3 1/4 turns out on the mixture screw. I gave this brand plug a try but just put the good old RN12YC Champions back in her. She looks a tad rich to me, but I'm not the expert. The problem is that if I turn the mixture screw in any further, I get those annoying fart/pops the CV is famous for.
Please advise.

Top pictures really rich, bottom pictures still rich, lean it out some more you're getting there. Looks like you need a smaller jet.

Humm, yeah, thats kinda what I was thinking. Its funny, the one side of the plugs says one thing and the other side says another. But which one do you trust.

OK, I agreed with your "to rich" advice. I turned the mixture screw in from 3 1/4 to about 2 3/4. I took a 45 minute lunch and rode. It seems a bit more responsive, no carb farts and the pipes look good as well. I guess I'll leave it there for a while and see what happens.

Looks okay to me. A little dark but you were probaly riding around at low speeds when you pulled the plugs.
