Default Vance and Hines Pro Pipe

Well, I bought the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe from Biker Performance. I hope I made the right choice? Price wise it was the right decision. Now I just need to see it in my hands to see how the quality is and then put it on the bike to see how well it runs and sounds? I hope I made a good choice here? I heard it was one of best fitting 2-1's that fit really well without a bunch of fiddling. Bolts right up?

V and H makes a quality product. No need to stress over it. BP is cheaper than Phat by $20. Good to know.

yeah, no probs on the fit .

i would tune it rich, or the megaphone turns gold about midway.

keep it washed & dry it well (ride after wash) to keep the tip dry, water beads up in the chrome & peels it sometimes.

i never liked the sound. i have a spare baffle if you want to play with the sound

be careful taking the tip off the baffle, you can strip out the small screws.

it's a good product.

You did good with the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe!!! I tossed a pair of drag pipes in exchange for that 2-1..World of difference on the powerband...You will be VERY pleased!!!

sometimes you can check out the sound on the website for certain pipes. I have heard the V&H on some bikes and they usually sounds pretty good, way louder than stock harley exhaust. The 2 into 1 should give you a litter performance boost too...

Just for the sake of discussion, I've rode with many that have 96" TC's with drag pipes and I'm at 88" with an EVO...I pull away from them with ease from a standing start until 70-mph thanks to that 2-1....They nail me all day long above 70-mph with that 6th gear....

That being said, you can't go wrong with that 2-1!!! It's much quieter but the low-end grunt you gain is worth it!!!

I have a Pro Pipe on my 98 883/1200 conversion and I like the way it sounds. Then again I have Thunderstorm cams, 10:1 pistons, Buell heads and a bunch of other little things....It has a sound that just says don't mess with that bike

I wouldn't trade the Pro Pipe for anything on my Sportster.

I like mine. Not too loud at normal cruise but sounds good when you get on them.

Nice pipe - mine's gone a bit golden around the middle but if you go quick enough no-one can see it anyway. Nice pipe, well made, decent power, good 2-1 sound.
