I hate to be a stickler on the subject, but again, unless the comparison is on the same bike it means nothing. Stock engines can vary widely in their output, this is a fact that anybody that's both knowledgeable and honest will agree with. Two engines even if broken exactly the same way can produce different numbers, even, by several HP.
I'd also like to say that outright peak #'s mean very little in the real world.

They are all good pipes. But, only one will work the best on a particular engine configuration and NATHANW is correct. Most 2 into 1 headers will work very well with any build. They help the rear cylinder breath better. That's why.

i had the bassani and now have the bub7 on my bike, first complaint of the bassani was fit and finish, i had the black one and it was rusty and flaked off paint on the dybo, also the way it sounded wasnt a fan but that is personal pref some love it some hate it. it made 105 107 on my build. switch to a bub7 it made 103 110, not much differnt in peak numbers, but thru the power band 3000 -4500 it is 6 hp more and 7 tq more. much throaty sound, awesome fit and finish and they give you heat shields. bassani was a flater curve and i was over 100 tq by 24-2500 , the bub moved it to 2750. both good pipe it all come to what you like, the bassani i bought used for 150, the bub was 700 it was for a 09 so not too many used out there. hope this help

Great input,,,,, Sounds like if I like the sound of my Road rage, I should keep it!! I dont have any problems with the way it sounds and I just re-blacked it today. I do need to find someone that can get me a replacement baffle, I have gound the back bolt almost off and the end looks reelly bad egg shaped......

Thanks

Mike

Mike, that end piece is separate from the baffle, so you only need it, not the baffle.

I put my D&D on Thursday night. I have no personal experience with the other two on my ride, but this pipe rules. I love the looks and the sound, and the added pwoer from teh 2 into 1 compared to the drag pipes I was running is insane. I am a very happy camper with my D&D.

I also find it amusing that the laughing stock of the sportbike world ( D&D and to a similar extent V&H ) seems to be the holy grail for some in the Harley world.

I'm still running stock and was considering the D&D fatcats for my 10 Streetbob. What are you running and how do you like it?

bike looks great! Yeah, me with my bagger; it was hard to give up my true duals but I don't care anymore now that I've experienced the performance.

I couldn't imagine riding without apes. No I do not get tired on long rides. One you go ape, you'll never go back.
