Default Exhaust leak

I recently had true dual installed, after about 30 days the nuts that holds the flange that holds the header pipe came lose. What if any problems can arise out of running with an exhaust leak for a short period of time? Thanks in advance for any information.

Default RE: Exhaust leak

You might get some popping with a leak. Some one here put locknuts (steel, not the vinyl ones, they'd melt!) on when they installed duals so the nuts didn't come loose. I have been keeping an eye on mine just to make sure.
