Ha... Well, I went ahead and tack welded an I-bolt/washer to the forward side of my cheese grater baffle. I think the reason for the diffuser at the rear (of BCT baffles) is to disturb/tumble the straight outward air flow after it exits from the diameter reduced straight baffle. On my V&H basic slip-on grater baffles, I think the diffuser to the front will tumble the air even more before it hits the grater holes. That along with a thin layer of baffle packing will be used to slightly increase back pressure in my left side slip-on. A poor mans method of a tuned exhaust for my stock 09 crossover pipe/V&H slip-ons with 2-1/4" factory baffles. Hell, I only have $5.79 invested
Ya, I was wondering too, I picked up a used set of Big City Thunder baffles on e-bay and I'm pretty sure they won't come with instructions. My plan was to have the washer towards the front on my V&H Longshots???? Any thoughts??

They'll probably have the mounting bolt hole only on one end of the BCT baffle and that will go into your existing baffle spot.
