Tune after Cam Change

Tune after Cam Change
So, I've had all the parts ready to do a cam change sitting and waiting for the time to get the job done. It looks like I'll have a solid four day period of time next week during which I'd like to get dirty and get it done. The problem is - I won't have the cash to get a dyno tune for about another two months.
My question - I have a canned SERT map right now for my my Thundercones and Stage 1 A/C and I'm putting in SE255s, will this be decent enough to putt around town for a while, or do I need to leave the bike alone until I can get it tuned?
I realize the performance wouldn't be peak, but I can handle a little backfire here and there.
What do you think?

You must have a SERT if you have a SERT map in the ECM. No other to get one into the ECM. But this may be what the dealer said it was. Gotta buy the SERT before using it, cause once used, it is stuck to that individual ECM. Can do anything after that.
You can probably download into the ECM something pretty close to what you want. For starters anyway.
