Default Oil pathway question

Is there somewhere that I can see how the oil flows through a twin cam engine. I ask this because I am in my cam chest and I know it works but I have this need to really know how things function.

Also as I am replacing the tensioners I got thinking about oil and start up and wonder how the oil gets started pumping as it is all drained out right now and haven't seen anything about priming the oil pump. Does filling the crank case force some into the oil pump and cam chest or what, how, where? Does my question make sense to anyone but me???

There's a reasonable clear explanation in the service manual.

Yikes, I never saw that in the service manual. I will have to study this a bit. Now I feel a fool lor not looking first. Seems I completely skipped whole portions of the service manual.
