Well considering I had a V+H older pro pipe that had no fiber packing it was obnoxiously loud compared to the HO pipe. The HO pipe, believe it or not, was developed to be quiet at idle to adapt to the EPA regulations. As a matter of fact, I had no problem getting an inspection sticker with the HO pipe. Before I had to stuff packing in my old standard pro pipe to get my sticker. Plus I can hear my radio now!
Now before I stick my foot in my mouth, I still haven't dyno tuned my build yet and I'm still running on the break in download. I am sure that the sound level will change after the tune as its running on the lean side now.
