Default Complete exhaust replacement question

I have an 08 road king and have the opportunity to swap my complete stock exhuast system, with a V&H sytem..complete system pipes/headers mufflers. Do I need to put in a power commander and air kit to do this or can I get away with just replacing the exhaust system for now? I have had people tell me I can as long as the air flow into the engine does not change, and others say I can't, and need to do a comander and air kit. What's the verdict?

I would say you can run it that way. A tuner will help improve things though.

Thats what I think...I would think o2 sensor should just adjust on it's own. When I called the dealer they told me I had to get a tuner...but then a guy I know in town who works on HD said I do not need one...I think the dealer is looking for $$.

I would think if you are not going true duals you would be OK. But adding air kit and tuner would help performance and tunability.
