OK HD techs, I hate to beat a dead horse on this, but when I called my dealer to order the download for my '06 FLSTI (25 deg inj, SE A/C, Pro Performance exhaust), I expected them to confirm the part number for the download as 34391-06. Nope, they said is shows 34392-06. When I asked what the difference was, they were unable to tell me, but promised to check and call me back before ordering it.

Can anyone advise me what the diff is between 34391-06 and 34392-06?
BTW, I have studied the previous posts on the download PNs from Gunny (ShovelheadBob), but could not find any reference to the 34392.

OK, I got a call back from my dealer. The way they explained it is that 34391-06 is the "digi-tech" download, and the 34392-06 is the "cartridge" download, but both put the exact same information into the ecm of the bike. The way he explained it to me was that one is downloaded off the internet from HD, then downloaded from the PC into the bike's ecm. The other uses a cartridge that is plugged into the HD service computer and flashed into the bike's ecm. Dealer said there is no advantage to one over the other, as both give same exact results.

Does that sound right?
