Default Cam Gear Questions

2008 Street Bob Specs:

103 Big Bore kit
SE Air Cleaner
Woods Cam
Woods +4 Degree Cam Gear
V&H Short Shots
Power Commander 5 w/ o2 sensor elim

Question is, I am wanting to put on a set of stock heads with a port job, stainless valves and compression releases.

What are the pro's and cons of having the +4 cam gear in? Do I need to take this out?

It isn't possible to say unless we know which Woods cam you have in mind and what compression ratio you are going to have.

Your best bet would probably be talking to the person doing the heads (unless you are buying them used on fleabay or something). They should be able to tell you how the head is cc'd and what static compression ratio it's set up for. That will drive your decision about the advance gear.
