I read the post about 88 engine life, will my new 06 sportster run just as long with regular maintence? I would like to think it would last over 100,000 miles.

I have read so many posts on this oil business I wish someone(besides dealer) would say " Run _________ oil" I just don't know enough. I put syn 3 in at 1000 service am thinking Amsoil may be way to go. I just turned over 3000 today on it
