Anyone running this cam with the late model chain/tensioner? How is it noise wise?
What static CR? Thanks

i can see if i have a dyno sheet . i can tell you this the 525 and 625 are the sam cam the 625 just having more lift. really great cam. similar to the tw8 but more lift you can run lower compression any where from 9.8 in a larger cube bike up to 10.6.. also you can run lighter springs right around 185 is recomended
very quiet.

I like the LSA, lobe separation angle.

But I was looking at this cam on T-Man site and seemed to be gear only. Is it available with late model chain??

thanks.

4 versions available of the 625 , look at little closer for the descriptions of each. Gear driven and chain (early and late). All the same price.

Thanks guys.
sedeluxe, a friend has a tw8, runs really good but pretty loud. I wouldn't be able to handle the noise. Wonder why the Tman is quiet and 8 is not? I really like the specs of the Tman, and think it would be good in a 114" @ 10.3:1 static. Just hope it's as quiet as the S&S .625, or close. Is the dyno you posted for a 103"?

Default Price Drop

I was looking on the T-Man website and saw under the tab "Winter Build Specials" that the cams are 25 dollars off and there are other discounts available.

I have a set of the TR625 cams in my 107" with 10.5 static compression (9.6 corrected) and am not experiencing the noise discribed above. Though T-Man cam specs are very similar to the Wood cams, their ramps aren't as aggressive, so less chance of noise. Call and speak to TR at T-Man Performance about setting up your engine for those cams.

Thumbs up

Thank You GhostRider, I said the 8 was noisey, not the TMan. Have no experience with the TMan, .625. But will, soon, thanks to you and Deluxe.

Thanks guys.
Really like the T-Man 0.625 chain since it is available.
Have a Woods 7H and no complaints except for valve train noise. The noise has been so very well checked out and so much tried. Easier ramps may be the answer to this.
