Default About how many hours does it take to do a top end and cams?

I am just trying to get a guesstimate on what my build is going to cost me and was wondering how many hours of labor to do top end and cams. Thanks

My builder took about 8 or so for my bike ... so 10 sounds reasonable to me ... but "2003 Screamin Eagle Deuce 95" 110tq/113hp done for now" ... what you want ... a rocket ... ahhh, maybe its for the "work in progress" bike.

Takes me 10-12 hours in my garage, so a "qualified tech" should be able to do it in 8-10 hours.

I was quoted 12 hours +/- when I was gathering info to do mine. Right now I've got 14 hours in doing it myself. I've been taking my time and doing other things along the way that I'm sure would not be done by the dealer.

10 hours +/- seems about right for someone that has done them before and has everything they need at hand.

With all fluids/filter, and clutch spring, including 12 mile road test, we see 12.5 hrs. If loaded with "hot toppers", or chrome covers, covering the chrome covers, naturally more.

This seems about right, we do most of them in 12- 14 hours which includes 50 mile ride and first oil change.

We charge 6.5 for chain cams and 8.5 for gear drivecams. Takes me a little over 4 for chain and 5 for gear!

Just had a 103" with S&S 510G cams done by the dealer and was charged for 8.4 hours of labor.
