Default 95" big bore

Got a good deal on a stage 2 kit and a pair of htcc heads for my 04 rk
What do you think of this set up? Like to run 70 ,80 ,90 miles per hour for long periods of time. Not sure if I need a bigger cam or not.
Thanks for the info

The HTCC heads, and a 95" bore alone will be a genuine turd, and even with a cam, the'll be mid-upper rpm rang biased.
Your OE castings, re-worked with either 95" or 98" with the proper cam/compression for your riding, will produce more power, run smoother, and have increased fuel economy over that set-up, hands down.

agree with scott, put the HTTC on ebay, your stock casting have alot more latitude of where power can be made,if you want a high RPM screamer, keep the HTTC heads(we`ve not had real good results with the HTTC heads in any rpm range),not a big fan

well if you have them and take the patience to set it up correctly you will have a good runner on your hands. set the squish up to .035 on each piston to head , get adjustable push rods and cut the valve reliefs in the pistons out a little more. go with a T-Man 625 cam your bike will have some nice power.

I think Scott said it pretty well.... "genuine turd"...

If it were me, I'd see about selling the heads and using that money to have you stock heads done professionally by someone like him (Hillside), TMan, HQ, Baisley, etc....

You'll get a better deal in the long run if you go with what hillside and Phil said.
