whats your take? your opinion please
I am looking at doing cams in my 96. I have a sest with rhinehart 2-2 and a rsd venturi a/c. I want more jam in mid and while riding. I called 4 dealers to ask opinion. 2 of them say a se203 cam will be what you want and them 2 say if your going to do something do se heads and cams. One dealer recommended redshift 575 cams. Guys who have been through this please help. One guy says a 203 will be less noticeable than my stage one. How good are redshift? Are 203 worth it?

You could go either way on this subject as if you have the cams out of the bike already you might as well do a 95 kit, but it really all comes down to what you want out of your bike and how much you have to spend. I assume you will be having a shop do the install for you? Tell us what you want out of your bike. More low end grunt? More power for 2 up riding? This could go any way.

If you're asking for cams for that 08 Deluxe, there is no 203. The last year model the 203's work in is 2006 (except Dyna's).
I'd look at something like a TMan 525, HQ-500 or something along those lines. Both of those will work well @ stock compression ratio (better with bump in compression).

This is what I'm going with. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...no-charts.html. I've dealt with them before and trust them completely as well as the dyno sheet they've posted.

Andrews 54h's work great, but I would want to try advancing 4 degrees on a stock set up. Mike
