For ease of exhaust gasket install you could try hitting them with wd 40 first, although I have never had to do this someone recently did and said it simplified the process.

Thx Harley Goodies... I have also heard the WD-40 trick somewhere else, but haven't needed to do it in the past.

OBTW, I've got a set of your floorboard extenders on my RK Classic and love them. I was a little prone to scraping at first, but they are well worth it.

Got the pipes installed and the PC III map downloaded and took it out for a spin... It's 34 degrees and cloudy, but sometimes you've gotta ride!

True duals = exhaust in stereo! I've heard others say it, but it is true. The V&H ovals are now a bit louder and the bike has a distinctive new sound. I like it!

Performance seems to be the same as with the stock headers, but I hold my comment until I get a few more miles on it. I was smiling too big from the new sound.
