Default BUB 7 Tru Duals

I ordered a set of BUB 7 TRU Duals the other day along with a performance chip and high flow air cleaner for my 2008 FLHR. Will someone give me an realistic idea as to what type of performance increase I can expect from these changes?

Thanks in advance for the help!

What "performance chip" are you talking about?

I had D&D Fat Cats on my Road King but could never fall in love with the sound. I replace them with the BUB 7 True Duals. I expected to lose some low end torque like I had with the Rinehart TD. I was happy when this did not turn out to be the case.

The BUB were recommended by my shop as several other bikes they had dynoed with the BUB's had good low end results. No dip in the low rpm area. And I love the sound.

you will have to excuse me for my lack of technical knowledge when it comes to engines...this is what I am having done to my bike (2008 FLHR).

Install exhaust and hi-flow air cleaner
-BUBS TRU-DUAL 7
-KIT, SE STAGE 1 AC/50MM
-EFI RACE TUNER

The shop is also going to race tune or "dyno" the bike at a cost of $320.00. I was told this is necessary to ensure the motor does not run to hot and is properly tuned after the installation.

...thanks again for the replies.

I have the BUB7's and love them, you should be around 74 hp and 84 tq after the install and the tune, anymore would be excellent.

Default I added Bub 7s on my 2010 SG

I put the TD Bub7s on my SG. They sound awesome, but I feel that there is a loss in the 2k-3K range. I haven't dynoed it, don't plan to. I am very happy with the look and sound. At 3K, the performance is much better than stock. I am now looking and saving for a cam upgrade. I hope to do that before sturgis 2010.

The bubs are great, deep sound... not a quiet pipe.
