Default Fuel Stabalizer

I betting you folks can help me out. I never have had to add fuel stabalizer, so I'm not to sure on what to do. It looks like it will be a while before I get to ride again, so, I figure I might as well do it.

From what I know, The tank needs to be full as possible. I have and 08 fatboy, with a 5 gal tank. How much do I add, one bottle?

Thanks in advance...

Read the bottle. I use Sta-bil and I add 1 oz for 2.5 gallons.
Pour into tank or mix it first in a gas can then pour into tank.

Ok... Then what if the tank is full already? Its been too cold and too wet, and I dont see riding at all anytime soon.

I'll you're trying to do is mix it up. Rock your bike back and fourth a bit. Then let your bike run for about 10 minutes to let the treated gas get into the fuel system.

Slap on a battery tender and leave it alone until you're ready to ride again. Piece of carpet, tile or rubber matts under each tire is a good idea as well.

If your gas has ethanol in it, you might want to use the Marine Stabil or Star Tron. I was told the Star Tron is better one to use, so that is what I picked up this week at my local VIP auto center. They had the small bottles on sale for $5.79.

Just remember.............you can never add too much of either of these products.........so don't worry about putting too much in.
