RE: Nice Exhaust sound
Many threads on this already within the site.
Sound is very subjective to you and you like, allot of opinions about what you should buy, but the best advice I think anyone would give is go hang out at your local dealer and ask to hear some differnt pipes or Local Biker hang out and listen to all the pipes they have on their bikes, when you find some you like, talk to the owners

RE: Nice Exhaust sound
I agree with Jake. The sound is entirely up to you. Everyone has a different idea of what I Harley is "supposed" to sound like. It's BS if you ask me. Technically, a Harley is supposed to sound like it does when it leaves the factory. That's how it's made, so that's how it's supposed to sound. Too bad the government makes them put such crappy mufflers on them.
Performance should be your first priority, then quality, and then sound. Narrow your selections down in that order and you'll find something that you like. I don't care at all what my bikes sound like as long as they perform well. I do have to say that my V&H Pro-Pipe is one of the best sounding exhausts I've ever heard, and it IS the best performing system I've ever used. Quality is top-notch, too! It also costs less than most others. But that's me.... it's your bike, and therefore your decision. Whatever you do, DO NOT use drag or any open pipes. They will KILL your performance, especially on the street!
