Decided to also go into the cam chest as long as I was in the teardown mode to see how the new design tensioners are holding up.

They show minimal wear for 45k miles and I suspect they will easily go 100k miles without issues.

 

Good to see. I'm helping soos do is up scoot with the SE tensioner upgrade kit this winter.

 

Keep this up and you'll have the crank in 3 pcs before you know it. Step away from the toolbox.
