Default T-MAN Kits - Pros & Cons please?????

http://www.tmanperformance.com/kits.htm

ANY feed back on these kits out there would be GREATLY Appreciated!!!
I am considering going with the Stage 1 Street Performer 98 "

Do I have to send him my old heads for a core?
What grind cam should I go with ?
Do I need to upgrade my oil pump?

Where is a good source for a high performance Mukuni Carb? What MM should I start out with?
Or should I convert to EFI?

My current bike is a 2001 Deuce w/ a stock 88B Carb motor, performance air cleaner & V&H pipes....

My budjet is $3,000 on the motor - I Need the most bang for my buck...
My goal is to build an around towm Monster Hot Rod, Loud, mean and Obnoxious. I am also going with a Heartland kit and new pipes. Pictures will be uploaded for all to enjoy after the first of the year provided I get some good sound advice from you fellow bikers on this Mod....

thank you in advance...

TMan stuff is Top Notch!

If you're able to do the work, you can easily get a killer TMan build within your budget.

Heck you could go with his Stage 3 package for less than your alotted budget.

If you are not gonna build it yourself, give me a holler. I'm in DFW as well and do builds for folks all the time.

You best bet would be to talk to TR himself and explain what you're after. He can "prescribe" what ya need. Depending on compression, yoiu have a number of cam options. Agian, talk to him about it.

Regarding carbs.... If you want a flatslide, I'd say the 42mm is as big as you'd wanna go. Properly setup, the CV 40 you have now is not a bad choice at all.

Holler if I can help.

A friend of mine just finished his 103" stage 3 T-man setup with .590 cams.

Here is a link to his details and dyno sheet-

Hahahahha..... You have head that before John.

I agree that the numbers the TMan motors make "seem" high, when compared to some others. However, shops & tuners all over the country seem to get those results.
