i rode from hillside to my house in Nj when a few of us rode up to see scott. i got stuck in the rain all the way home. couple of dry spots i was able to make up some time but iwhite knuckled it home for 5 hrs. the bike slid out more times then i could count betwen hydro planing or from too much tq. now even if rain is in the forecast i will not even take it out.

Default TR is excellent!

I have gone through 3 engines with TR of T-Man Performance, check here for his kits: (http://www.tmanperformance.com/kits.htm). The power he can produce is unbelieveable! I average 25k miles per year and must be able to hit the road at a moments notice; his stuff provides the power and reliablity I need. You can easily build your engine with his stuff for under $3000 with his Hi-output Stage 3 kit.

My current build is TR's Stage 3 Heads, HPI 51mm TB, TR's 107" nikisil cylinders with his custom built 11:1 forged pistons. He balanced, trued and welded my stroker crank and installed his H-Beam rods and Timken insert. I went with his 3-stage oil pump and TR-662 cam. This engine is extremely smooth (B motor) at all speeds. The bike runs extremely well.

Looking at the dyno sheets on his site, his cams produce very well behaved power bands. I've run his TR-525 cam in several builds I've done for friends and in my bike I have used the TR-590, TR-600, TR-625 and now TR-662 cams. All produced excellent results. I've used his Stage 2 and Stage 3 with excellent results. His Stage 3 head produces unbelievable power.

Give TR a call, he never tries to upsell and shoots straight. He has produced more steet able power houses then most of us will ever experence.

Edit: I've used the T-Max and TTS; both with excellent results. Right now, I tuned this engine with the TTS Mastetune using V-Tune. The bike tuned in right away and runs great! This is in part a testimony on the well designed kits TR provides.

sorry for the double post....

Those are STD numbers The SAE numbers are 116.23 HP 117.32TQ Those numbers are excactly what T-man said I would be close too with my combo. T.R. was great to deal with and my results prove he knows what he is talking about. I think my numbers are right on for this build and consistant with others with the same combo ,trust me I did my research. Ride safe and give T-Man a call.

Yes, I agree I have dealt with a lot of people over the years and I must say he is one of the best. The quality of work done on my cylinders,heads,etc.. was top notch right down to the packaging of the parts. He told me my bike would be around 115 to 117 HP with same torque SAE and after the tune he was right on the money. I am currently using his heads and cams on several other builds and I wil post those results as well. And we use his kits at the dealership I work at as well with no regrets.
