Ok thanks for the advice. Are the Andrews EZ install pushrods actually "EZ install"? and would you recommend them? and also will the stock pushrod covers work with these pushrods? or will I have to buy aftermarkey pushrod covers?
Thanks again.
I have never used the Andrews PRs but believe they can be installed without removing lifter bore covers or rocker supports; a call to Andrews will confirm.
The stock pushrod covers will not work; you won't be able to adjust the pushrods properly. You will need the o-rings, tubes and clips to get H-D parts or purchase a "kit" from the aftermarket.
I bought a set of Andrews EZ adjustables when I did my first motor build, and they wouldn't fit with the motor assembled. They were about 1/4" to 1/2" too long when fully compressed. That is why I'm using the SE EZ install adjustables.............needed a set quick and the local HD dealer had them on the shelf.

Thanks Steve - I ended up going with the S&S adjustable pushrod kit which comes with gaskets, o-rings and pushrod covers.
